Current Happenings

 Promotion and Retention

Students meeting all classroom requirements will be promoted. Retention and all special cases are discussed with the parents. Failure of one or more subjects in 7th and 8th grade requires retention or successful completion of summer school.

Testing Program

All students in grades K through 8 are given achievement tests each spring. WSCA uses the Stanford Achievement Test Series for all grades and Cognitive Abilities Tests for 3rd grade and higher.

Athletics

Students must maintain a C- average to be eligible for organized athletics.

Grading Scale

The following grading scale is used for grades I through 8.
