 Admission Policy

West Suburban Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities, generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic or other school administrated programs.

Communication

• Classroom visits: If you would like to observe a classroom session, contact the teacher. You will be allowed to visit and observe your child in the classroom setting.

• Weekly classroom schedule: The teachers send weekly class schedules home. These will inform you of up coming assignments, tests, projects, and will assist you in helping your child succeed.

• Monthly School Newsletter: This provides information about the many on-going school activities.

• Parent Teacher Conferences: Conferences are held in the 1st and 3rd quarter of the year.

• Report Cards Progress Notes: WSCA uses a nine-week grading period. Report cards track academic progress, conduct, and attendance (see grading scale). Midterm reports are automatically issued in grades 7-8.

• Personal Contact: Teachers will contact you if the need arises. Parents are encouraged to contact teachers at school with any questions or concerns.
