What is the Jog-a-thon?

A morning of exercise, laughter,  personal service, and God’s love all rolled up into one activity! Students who participate in the jog-a-thon will be eligible for special awards and prizes. Prizes will be awarded for most laps and most fundraising.  Students earn money by recruiting sponsors. Sponsors may contribute a flat donation or make a pledge per lap. Students walk or jog around a course for a set amount of time completing as many laps as possible. Distance and time are determined by grade:

Middle School Prizes for Most Funds Raised

• 1st  Nintendo Wii System

• 2nd  Pre-paid phone with minutes

• 3rd  MP3 or IPod docking and stereo system

Grade School Prizes for Most Funds Raised

• 1st  Razor electric scooter

• 2nd  $100 Game Stop Certificate

• 3rd  portable DVD player

Prizes for Most Laps Run

• $15 gift card for top male and female runners per grade

Awards Ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

Monies must be turned in to the office before noon to qualify for prizes.
